Alivr is operated by its founder, Atiksh Gupta. This notice covers The Lived Week and the Alivr build-updates list. The public experiment is for people age 16 and older. Updated October 1, 2026.

What stays on your device

Your chosen intention, worksheet, browser participant ID, and self-reported history are stored in this browser. They are not synchronized between devices. Clearing site data removes that local history. If a contact, opportunity, or unsubscribe request cannot be confirmed, its email and message remain in this browser as a pending request until a retry succeeds; you can clear it by clearing site data. Do not enter sensitive information about yourself or other people.

What Alivr records

Experiment records can include a browser-generated participant ID, page or route, campaign and referring-site information, and steps you take in the experiment. General funnel events do not include your intention or action text. When you report a result, your action, beginning, result answers, ratings, and optional comments are sent to the founder. If you used the "still avoiding it" path, the competing behavior and the five-minute setup change you wrote are sent with that reported result. Before a result is reported, ordinary funnel events do not send your intention, action step, obstacle, or setup text. If you choose email continuation or build updates, we also collect your email, consent, and any optional reminder cue. Contact, opportunity, and unsubscribe requests are collected so they can be handled.

Hosting and service providers

Vercel hosts the site and collection endpoint; Google Apps Script and a private Google Sheet handle experiment records. Manual emails use the founder’s email provider. These providers may separately process standard browser, device, and network information in operational logs, and may process information outside your country. Alivr does not sell your information or use advertising pixels.

Network information and retention

Alivr’s experiment collector does not save raw IP addresses to the Sheet. A short-lived keyed network identifier is used for abuse limits and expires from active counters within about an hour. Hosting providers may separately process network information in their own operational logs. The site loads its font from Google Fonts.

Identifiable experiment records are reviewed for deletion within 90 days of collection; only non-identifying aggregate learnings should remain afterward. A minimal email suppression record is retained to respect opt-outs. Browser history remains until you clear it. Provider backups and operational logs follow their own retention schedules.

Your choices and contact

Email is optional. Unsubscribe here or reply “stop” to any prompt or update. To request access, correction, or deletion, use Contact / deletion. Include the email you used, or submit from the original browser so the founder can locate your browser ID. We may ask for proportionate verification before disclosing or deleting records. Clearing local data does not delete records already sent.

If you ask for one concrete opportunity through Choose, you may optionally provide broad location context such as a city or region when it matters. Do not send a home address or other precise location.
